Get Real

Jun, my son is going to turn 2 in May. The perception of Time is really impenetrable by consciousness- it seems only yesterday when the new life put a completely new perspective on my existing life.

Jun is an incredible boy: exactly knows what he wants in any moment in time + endless energy + shameless performer = make for a really challenging person to live with and especially trying to be a parent of. I admire him and he’s my biggest source of inspiration and energy.

Of course he misses his dad entrepreneur/activist and has therefore invented creative ways of communicating that to me. One of them would be his incredible capacity of learning by imitating me combined with his cynical edge. He takes my objects of work (laptop, cell, cards, usb…) at the very moment when I use them and turns them into his objects of desire and humor, walking around with them, imitating me and making fun of me (and refusing to return them!). Seeing me embarrassed makes him always laugh out loud. I have no other chance but to feel like a jerk, and get more real. And love him more.
